Do the Kardashians get equal pay for their appearances in their family show? Khloe Kardashian answers
Khloe Kardashian briefly talked about their pay for their family's hit Hulu reality series, The Kardashians.
In an interview with Alex Cooper on the April 16 episode of Call Her Daddy, the TV star didn’t shy away from the topic of money. At one point, she was asked whether she and her sisters get equally paid for their participation on the show.
Asked to answer between "true" and "liar," Khloe said it's the former.
Cooper then asked if Khloe and her family, who are also executive producers of the show, are allowed to remove any footage they don’t like to air.
Khloe confirmed they can but explained that it's usually just for small reasons like "vanity" concerns.
"It's more vanity things we would cut," she said, noting that her storylines mostly remain in the show as they actually happened. "I mean, trust me, I would've cut way other sh*t. I've never cut anything crazy."
When asked which member of the Kardashian-Jenner family is the "pickiest" or likely to request a scene be removed from The Kardashians, Khloe was quick to name Kourtney.
"It's more because she'll say, 'I say [these] lines too many times' remove this word. It's not really because of the storylines; it's not about the story concept; it's more on verbiage."
"She still says 'like' 500 times," Khloe joked.
The Kardashians is a Hulu reality show that follows the personal lives of the Kardashian–Jenner family. It started in April 2022 and replaced their old show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The show has multiple seasons, with new ones coming out twice a year. In July 2024, it was renewed for seasons 6 and 7.
