Indie-rock artist Beabadobee showed fans her a glimpse of the Philippines in her latest music video.

On Feb. 15, Filipino-British singer-songwriter Beatrice Kristi Laus, popularly known as beabadobee, dropped her new single Glue Song, alongside with a music video.

“I’ve never smiled so big in a music video before,” she said in her tweet, expressing how beautiful her hometown Iloilo, the setting of her MV, is.

“I wanted to capture how beautiful [Iloilo] is as I haven’t seen much of it on the internet and I needed that when I was growing up,” the 22-year-old musician said.

Further expressing her delight, Bea shared why it is her favorite MV yet.

“A lot of people I love are in this music video, so you guys are seeing a little exclusive snapshot of my life,” she said.

In the music video, Bea finds herself in bliss with her family and Lola. The music video also features a typical Filipino house setting with the iconic wooden furniture and children playing around their neighborhood.

“My lolo planted all those trees in that bit where I walking around in, [and] my lola’s house is where I grew up in and visited every year once I moved to London.”

Bea also showcased jeepneys and tricycles amidst a scenic backdrop, perfectly depicting the peaceful province life.

The young talent thanked her guitarist Jacob Erland for helping her produced the video.

"Big love to Jake who made this video with me and managed to film me through his eyes (which is probably why [I] am smiling so big) thank you for making my favourite music video so far, [I] haven’t looked this happy in a minute," she tweeted.

The London-based singer was born in Iloilo City and lived there until she was 3 years old.

Talking about her music influences, Bea said she grew up listening to Eraserheads and Apo Hiking Society.

"I wrote a love song in Filipino, almost inspired by Apo," she said back in 2022.

Some of her hit tracks are the perfect pair, Coffee, and Tired.  She is also set to join Taylor Swift's upcoming "The Eras Tour" along with GAYLE and Gracie Abrams this year.
