Taylor Swift fan hides identity to watch 'Eras Tour' after calling in sick to work

Swifties will surely go the extra mile to watch Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. 

An anonymous Swiftie in Cincinnati, Ohio called in sick to work and dressed up like one of the Anti-Hero ghosts to attend the show on Saturday, July 1.

Hiding her identity with a blanket and sunglasses, the T. Swift fan drew laughs when she got interviewed by a local news outlet. 

“I almost named my daughter’s middle name Taylor,” she told Local12 News as she talked about how much Taylor Swift means to her.

She and another anonymous Swiftie drove all the way from Louisville and had been in the merch queue since quarter to three in the morning to purchase a grey quarter-zip sweatshirt. 

This dedicated supporter shared that it was her second time watching the Eras Tour to accompany an 11-year-old fan. 

“I’m taking an 11-year-old little girl, it’s her first time; I went to the show in Nashville so it’s more for her,” she said, baring their plan to trade in a bunch of friendship bracelets. 

Swift announced The Eras Tour in November last year, describing it as a journey through the musical eras of her career thus far. The ongoing first leg will run from March 18 to Aug. 5 at stadiums across the United States. With scheduled shows in Singapore and Japan, the concert tour is set to conclude in August 2024.
