Olivia Rodrigo to hold ‘Sour Prom’ concert film

Olivia Rodrigo is set to hold a free SOUR Prom concert film on June 30 at 11 a.m. (Philippine Time) to stream on her YouTube channel, the singer announced Thursday.
During the event, described as “the ultimate alternative prom experience” in the press release, Rodrigo will perform select songs from her record-breaking debut album SOUR.
"Since I never got to go to prom, I wanted to throw a little prom party with my fav ppl (you guys obvs)," Rodrigo wrote, who recently graduated high school.
According to YouTube, there will be a pre-party 30 minutes before the actual concert film starts. Fans can ask Rodrigo questions who will also be sharing behind-the-scene stories about SOUR Prom.
A line of exclusive SOUR Prom merch will also be unveiled after the event, which will be available on her official website, the video-sharing service added.
Ahead of the announcement, some fans tweeted photos of Rodrigo visiting them, holding a pink sign that read “Prom would be brutal without u,” asking if they would want to go to prom with her. The singer came bearing gifts, she also gave flowers and merchandise to her ‘Livies’.
SOUR debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and broke the record for the biggest opening week for an album by a female artist in Spotify history with over 385 million streams.
