Gong Yoo just turned a year older, but his fans are the ones getting the present: He’s coming to Manila!

The South Korean superstar is bringing his 2026 Asia fan meeting tour, “The Long Take,” to the Philippines.

"The journey begins," teased his agency, Management SOOP, who is organizing the tour.

The announcement featured a photo of a sleek envelope holding the event's title. Inside was a heartfelt letter from Gong Yoo himself, expressing his deep gratitude to fans for their unwavering love and support over the years.

"Every year on my birthday, I spend this season feeling deeply grateful for the warm wishes and unwavering support that you send me. Thanks to all of you who have been with me for so long, I naturally found myself looking back on the moments we have shared. So, this year, I have prepared a special gathering where we can meet in person and reminisce about those times together," Yoo wrote in the letter as per English translation.

"I hope that our story, which has continued for so long, can add a new chapter. Until then, I will continue doing my best where I am and come back to you with an even better version of myself. As always, thank you," he ended his note.

The highly anticipated Manila stop is part of a broader regional run that includes Jakarta, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macau, and Seoul.

More details will be announced soon.

Just recently, Yoo joined his Goblin co-stars Yoo In-na, Kim Go-eun, and Lee Dong-wook for the 10th anniversary TV special of the K-drama on tvN.

Aside from Goblin, he is known for his roles in the dramas Coffee Prince, Train to Busan, The Age of Shadows, The Silent Sea, Squid Game, and The Trunk, among others.

He is set to star in a new drama titled Tantara with Song Hye-kyo.
