EXO’s Suho promises ‘special gifts’ to fans after military discharge: ‘I miss your silver light’
Kim Junmyeon, also known as EXO’s Suho, has finally been discharged from the military after a year and nine months.
In a heartfelt letter posted on Instagram, Suho revealed that he’s preparing a “special gift” for fans after his military discharge.
“I’m preparing gifts for our EXO-L from this moment. I hope it will be a gift worth waiting for me. Since we haven’t seen each other for a long time, we will see you more and more often, our promise,” Suho said.
The EXO member also opened up how much he “missed EXO-L the most” during his military enlistment—which he described as a “meaningful time” in his life.
“I miss you and the members so much for a period of 1 year and 9 months. I even had a concert in my dream. Lol I guess I wanted to skip this time and meet you guys on stage,” Suho added.
Suho also thanked his fans for “waiting” for his discharge, saying that it made “our hearts deeper."
“Like I said, ‘If waiting is happy, it’s love.’ I wonder if the time of waiting has made our hearts deeper. No more falling off again, though if only I could hug, I would hug you all,” Suho said.
Suho is the third EXO member to be discharged from the military, following Xiumin and D.O.’s in December 2020 and January 2021 respectively.
Suho debuted as EXO’s leader and main vocalist in April 2012. He released his first solo album Self Portrait in March 2020.
