Netizens have been talking about Nadine Lustre, who had a good laugh over a bottle of lechon sauce that she received after her performance at the Leni-Kiko rally in Pampanga. Who is it from and how did it reach her?

In a tweet, Internet user Carlito Silvestre shared that it actually came from their newly formed group with fellow Kakampink Aaron Paule, who thought of bringing some Mang Tomas to the affair for the actress.

“Me and my friend KC David bought some snacks from a local grocery store and we thought of buying the famous sarsa,” Aaron told PhilSTAR L!fe. “Even during the early parts of the program, we were already waving the Mang Tomas with the crowd.”

In a separate chat, Silvestre recalled suggesting that they put a sticky note that said “For Nadine” but they didn’t have any. “We decided na ipapasa-pasa na lang sa harap hanggang makarating kay Nadine,” he shared.

“Plano talaga namin maparating sa kanya, and when it was successfully done since naki-cooperate din yung audience na ipasa, nagtawanan nalang kami,” added Silvestre.

In a video, the local star can be seen laughing when it finally reached her onstage after her Para-Paraan performance. She also said “thank you” and then showed the lighthearted gift to the pink crowd.

“Nadine” and “Mang Tomas” trended on Philippine Twitter after the hilarious incident.

Nadine became the subject of memes after a candid photo of her surfaced on social media, where she was spotted buying lechon sauce in Siargao. Online users admired her barefaced beauty and wondered what she paired it with. She later gave an “ulam reveal” and tweeted: “Para di na kayo mag-isip… lechon manok yung ulam.”
