It’s not every day that you see a star like Nadine Lustre casually shopping in your neighborhood sundry store—and the memes are here to prove it.
The viral sighting began when Surigao del Norte’s Arah Mae Conte saw the star purchasing goods at a store in General Luna. As a star-struck fan, Conte promptly took a photo and shared it online.
“Nung ’pag picture ko po tumingin lang sa’kin tapos balik po agad sa tinda po namin kasi sinuklian na siya. Sana lang po ’wag magalit si Nadine po, na-shock lang po talaga ako,” Conte shared with the Philippine STAR.
The photo itself sees the bare-faced 27-year-old looking calm while holding a bottle of Mang Tomas, waiting for her change to continue going about her day on the island.
The Internet has since been ablaze with the star’s rare sighting, as she's been keeping private while on vacation with rumored boyfriend Christophe Bariou.
But that didn't stop the actress from returning to Twitter to poke fun of her photo too. Through her official account @hello_nadine, she’s been replying to fans and resharing memes of her sullen grocery look.

Nadine went on to share that she had lechon manok (roasted chicken) for dinner that night and even cheekily posted a stock image of her food for fans requesting a peek. Guess we understand the choice of sauce now.
