Jeremy Clarkson named UK's sexiest man, with Tom Holland, Prince William in top 3
Jeremy Clarkson, a 64-year-old TV presenter, has emerged as the United Kingdom's sexiest man for the second year.
The motoring journalist beat out movie stars Tom Holland, Cillian Murphy, and Idris Elba in the list, which was based on an annual survey conducted by IllicitEncounters, an online dating site "for married people."
The poll was voted on by 2,000 women on the dating site, who scored names from 1-10 based on their "sexiness."
In the No. 2 sexiest man spot was Spider-Man actor Tom Holland, while No. 3 was Prince William.
England national team manager and former football player Gareth Southgate took fourth place with Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy taking fifth.
Actor Idris Elba, comedian Romesh Ranganathan, radio presenter Sam Thompson, athlete Russ Cook, and broadcaster Dermot O'Leary round out the top 10.
Other notable names on the list include Ryan Reynolds at 26th place and presenter Piers Morgan at the 40th spot.
Who is Jeremy Clarkson?
As the results of the poll came out on social media sites like X (formerly Twitter), some users questioned why Clarkson came out on top.
"I really wonder how Jeremy Clarkson of all people won the sexiest man in the UK. I'm sure the voting demography consisted of old women," one user wrote.
Others, however, came to his defense. "Do people really not know who Jeremy Clarkson is? This dude is the goat (greatest of all time), one of three people who made Top Gear a fantastic show to watch," one said.
Clarkson is best known for hosting motoring programs Top Gear and The Grand Tour and co-hosting the reality show Clarkson's Farm in which he attempts to run a 1,000-acre farm without farming experience.
"Clarkson and his farm is a bit like Noah's ark and just like the animals in that story, his victory in the Sexiest Man vote has come in twos," a spokesperson from IllicitEncounters, Jessica Leoni, told the Daily Mail.
"We all know about his brash persona, but the latest series of Diddly Squat has shown he can tug at heartstrings, too—and clearly his farmer look continues to set hearts racing."
With Clarkson taking the title for the second year in a row, Leoni said that we might see a three-peat next year.
