For timeless staples, check out COS’ Spring Summer 2025 collection, which was showcased on the runway for its first-ever show in Athens in April. The 35 looks showed minimalist yet elegant styles, like the draped elements and soft silhouettes for womenswear. Functional but bold looks were curated for the menswear.  

The collection also features unique marble prints inspired by Renaissance paintings, with neutrals like off-white, black, muted and rich blue taking center stage for your capsule wardrobe.  

All staples were made of Materra Hydroponic Cotton—an indoor-grown cotton, so your comfort is guaranteed despite the intense heat.

Sari Lazaro

Filipino designer Sari Lazaro recently released ready-to-wear pieces with styles that are not only refreshing to the eye but are also comfortable for events this summer season.  

The collection, which took inspiration from the vibrant spirit and joyful demeanor of the Filipino people, features tropical designs, Pinoy-woven textiles, and fun shapes, like exaggerated floral blouses.

Their products are 50% made of recycled materials (except the leather line) and 100% machine washable.

PUMA

Speedcat is undeniably the crowd's favorite. This shoe, first known as an icon in racing, has spawned different versions, from the OG, leather, and now, the all-time favorite Mary Jane. For your cute sporty looks, get your hands on Puma's Speedcat Ballerina for P5,200. This shoe is available in colorways of two-tone black and pink, black and white, and silver that resembles the metallic body of an F1 race car.

Attention, shoe lovers! If you’re on the hunt for the newest kicks and are conscious of its benefits to the feet, MBT (Masai Barefoot Technology) has opened its first concept store at Level 2, Shangri-La Plaza Mall’s Main Wing near La Creperie. 

The brand is known for its signature curved sole intended for natural movement, which, in turn, “activates underused muscles, and improves overall posture.”  

Its unique technology caters to different movement needs: Activate for gentle activation, Dynamic for moderate engagement, and Performance for maximum muscle activation and energy return—these features are said to also help in recovery and support for those managing diabetic foot conditions.

Adidas

Apart from comfort, another factor in choosing running shoes is the design, which allows you to wear them even in casual outfits. Good thing, Adidas' Adizero Evo SL offers both. If you're looking for clothes that will keep you dry and fresh in the summer heat, Uniqlo is the place to go. The brand has a new collaboration with Anya Hindmarch dubbed "The T-Shirt Shop." The collection, albeit looking simple, stands out with its quirky googly eyes and deconstructed stitch on boxy t-shirts, classic crew neck t-shirts, loose and breezy sleeveless, fitted ribbed tank tops, and pouch.

This collection is available starting on May 23.

For tennis fans, Uniqlo also launched its newest collection inspired by tennis superstar Roger Federer. 

Created by UNIQLO Creative Director Clare Waight Keller, the collection features chic yet comfortable sportswear, which you can wear on casual days. The AIRism polo shirt and the DRY-EX polo shirt are in a mesh fabric, so you'll stay fresh despite the summer heat, available in colors navy, white, and black.

Complete the lazy outfit with a 3D knitwear hoodie, shorts, and pants.

As part of their Peace for All project, which aims to make a positive impact through clothing, Uniqlo recently held an art workshop for underprivileged kids in Tondo, Cavite, and Bulacan. They were taught the basics of the art-making process, primarily how to draw flowers inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Bouquet of Friendship shirt design.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Seiko's Diver watch is making a comeback with new styles. The Seiko Prospex Marinemaster Professional features an automatic driving system and is made of alloy designed to withstand breakage, rust, and wear, ensuring resilience in harsh underwater conditions. This model, with a dial inspired by shinkai or "deep sea" has a 72-hour power reserve, and can be used during diving as it's water resistant up to 600 meters deep. The watch will be available as a limited edition of 600.

The Seiko Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT Watch also has an automatic driving system with 72 hours of power reserve. Powered by Caliber 6R54 is also suitable for diving as it is water resistant up to 300 meters deep, the same as Seiko Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver’s Watch, which is powered by Caliber 6R55. These watches are limited to a total of 6,000 units.
