Alethea Ambrosio has been crowned as the new The Miss Philippines titleholder!

The beauty queen hailing from Bulacan bested 20 other aspirants at the recently concluded The Miss Philippines 2023 pageant held on Oct. 24 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

She will now take over the reign of Pauline Amelinckx, the inaugural titleholder of The Miss Philippines and who was also the first runner-up in the Miss Supranational international competition.

The other final candidates—Isabelle de los Santos from Mandaluyong City, Chantal Elise Legaspi Schmidt from Cebu City, and Blessa Ericha Figueroa from Northern California—are set to be the representatives at their own respective pageants.

These include the Miss Charm, Miss Supranational, and Miss Asia Pacific International competitions. However, they will have a separate session and crowning ceremony in February next year.

The winners came after they displayed their wit and intelligence in the question and answer portion, where they were asked about their opinion on the true identity of Filipinos and how they intend to promote it to the world.

Aside from the coveted titles, the finalists also bagged the pageant's special awards. Schmidt won Miss Ever Bilena and Miss Fairy Skin, de los Santos took home Miss Glow and Miss Great Lengths awards, and Figueroa received the distinction of being Miss Kemans.
