HIGHLIGHTS: Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is back after 6 years
The Angels are back!
Following a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show finally made a grand return on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
Taking place in New York, the show featured some of the biggest names in the modeling industry, including Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Barbara Palvin, among others. It also saw the comeback of Adriana Lima on the VS runway after her retirement as well as the return of Tyra Banks on the same catwalk after nearly 20 years.
Aside from iconic looks, there were also showstopping performances by none other than BLACKPINK's Lisa, Tyla, and Cher.

From Lisa to Cher: All-women lineup of performers
Making the VS event special was its lineup of performers that consisted entirely of women.
BLACKPINK's Lisa opened the show with her hit song, Rockstar, and later returned to the stage to perform her latest single, Moonlit Floor. Seeing her showcase her modeling skills on the runway in wings was an absolute treat.
South African singer and songwriter Tyla kept the crowd hyped with her much-loved hits, Push 2 Start and Water.
Pop icon Cher showed up at the 2024 affair to entertain the crowd with her iconic songs, Strong Enough and Believe. The singer opted for an all-black ensemble as she turned the stage into a disco dance floor.
Adriana Lima returns to the VS runway after retirement
Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, who bid goodbye to her VS wings in 2018, put her wings back on for the show.
She stunned in a sparkly bra and underwear that she paired with plaid sleeves and pants as well as iridescent wings.
Lima made her VS debut in 1999 and appeared in a total of 18 shows from the lingerie brand.
Tyra Banks makes VS comeback after 20 years
Tyra Banks made this year's edition one for the books with her first appearance on the VS catwalk in almost 20 years.
The supermodel closed the show in a black bra and corset with silver hints, which she layered with a flowing metallic cape in black.
The America's Next Top Model host and producer last appeared on the VS runway in 2005.

Aside from the original VS angels who returned to the Victoria's Secret runway, this year's fashion show also made headlines as two transwomen stunned at the event: Brazilian model and actress Valentina Sampaio and American model and influencer Alex Consani.

Through the years, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has been known for its eyecatching looks that put the spotlight on a mix of high fashion and fantasy—and the 2024 edition was no exception.
This year's segments featured signature lingerie pieces with intricate patterns and luxurious fabrics in black, white, red, and pink, among others.
As for the wings, which the lingerie brand has long been famous for, they featured a wide range of styles and designs—from dainty and feathery to bold and detailed, and beyond.
