LOOK: Adriana Lima returns to Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after retirement
Adriana Lima made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show comeback six years after her retirement from the lingerie brand.
The 43-year-old stunner turned heads at the show in a dazzling bra and underwear that she paired with plaid sleeves and pants as well as iridescent angel wings. She opted for slicked-back ponytail and smoky eye makeup to complete her look.
Lima officially let go of her VS wings in 2018 after appearing in 18 fashion shows since 1999. She closed the show at the time, which marked the brand's final one before it went on a six-year hiatus.
Lima confirmed her return to the Victoria's Secret runway in an Instagram reel ahead of the 2024 show.
According to a report by PEOPLE, she sees it as a “family reunion.”
"Some of these models have been my fellow angels and partners for a while," she said then. "It's good to see them. A lot of them are moms now like I am. We have a lot of things to talk about. I'm sure that everyone at home and all the Victoria's Secret fans will be pleased and amazed with what they're going to see."
The VS Fashion Show took place on Wednesday, Oct. 16 (Philippine time) in New York. It featured performances from BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Tyla, and Cher, among others. Aside from Lima, it also saw the return of Tyra Banks on the VS runway after 20 years.
