Here's where you can enjoy free dance fitness classes on Sept. 6
Looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday morning?
On Sunday, Sept. 6, Car-Free Sundays at Ayala Avenue is celebrating its third anniversary with free dance fitness classes at Ayala Triangle.
From 8:30 to 10 a.m., dance professionals will be leading back-to-back classes for anyone interested in moving and having fun.
Pick up jazz fitness routines from international theater performer Para Isidro, who served as dance captain of the Miss Saigon Asia Tour.
Then learn Latin dance fitness from Genice Marquez, Asia-Pacific Dancesport Gold medalist and international dance adjudicator. Marquez will be back for all Sundays of September from 8:30 to 10 a.m. to lead the same class.
Aside from the free dance fitness classes, there will also be a non-competitive fun run to mark Car-Free Sundays' anniversary. The registration fee for both 5km and 10km runners is P550, which includes a race shirt, race bib, finisher's medal, and tote bag.
Assembly time for 10km runners will be at 3:30 a.m., with gun start at 4:30 a.m., while 5km runners will assemble at 4 a.m., with gun start at 5 a.m.
