Good news, BPI customers!

Bank of the Philippine Islands announced that it's permanently keeping its fee for fund transfers via InstaPay at P10 (from P25).

The lower fee was first introduced as a promo that ran from March 7 to May 31. The move to make it permanent came after the bank received a positive response from its users and saw an increase in transactions via its online and mobile banking platforms, according to Maria Cristina Go, head of consumer banking.

Here's how you can transfer funds to another bank via Instapay on the BPI app:

  • On your BPI app, click “Transfer” and then “To another bank.”
  • Choose the BPI account you're transferring money from.
  • Click the bank you're going to transfer to in the InstaPay list.
  • Input the account details and the amount you're going to transfer.
  • Use mobile key to confirm your transaction.

InstaPay is available to all BPI customers with any Peso Savings or Peso Checking deposit account and are enrolled on the BPI app and BPI Online.
