ICYMI: PAL international flights to move to NAIA Terminal 1 starting June 16
If you have booked an international flight on Philippine Airlines (PAL), then be sure to keep in mind this important reminder.
The country's national airline has announced that their foreign flights are set to take off at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 while all domestic flights will remain at NAIA Terminal 2 starting June 16.
The change is part of the Manila International Airport Authority's program to reorganize and reassign their terminals to mitigate passenger congestion.
The international flights that will be affected are:
- Bangkok
- Beijing
- Brisbane
- Busan
- Fukuoka
- Guangzhou
- Tokyo (Haneda)
- Hong Kong
- Jakarta
- Jinjiang
- Osaka (Kansai)
- Kuala Lumpur
- Macau
- Melbourne
- Nagoya
- Tokyo (Narita)
- Perth
- Port Moresby
- Seoul (Incheon)
- Shanghai
- Sydney
- Taipei
- Xiamen
PAL has urged passengers to arrive at least four hours before their international flight and three hours for their domestic flights in order for them to have enough time for immigration and security checks.
They also reminded travelers that they are required to register through the E-Travel portal within 72 hours prior to their scheduled time of arrival in or departure from the Philippines.
