A prototype figure of the robot Voltes V based on GMA Network’s live-action adaptation of the beloved anime was showcased in Japan.

Mark Reyes, the director of Voltes V: Legacy, in an Instagram post on Nov. 16, shared a collage featuring a close-up shot of the figure, a still from the adaptation featuring the ensemble cast, as well as the Tokyo exhibit at the Tamashii Nations of toy company Bandai.

“We should all be proud,” Reyes said. “This is the first robot toyline that is based on a 100 percent Pinoy made Live Action adaptation of a Japanese Anime Franchise!”
