Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has been ranked as the fourth-worst airport according to a survey conducted by the UK-based website, BusinessFinancing.co.uk.

In this survey targeting business travelers, NAIA received an average rating of 2.78 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Kuwait International Airport claims the undesirable title of the worst airport in Asia with a dismal score of 1.69, closely followed by Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Conversely, Vietnam’s Noi Bai International Airport secured an impressive rating of 6.80, earning the title of the best airport in Asia in the study.
Also among the top five were Singapore's Changi Airport (6.63), Hong Kong International Airport (6.48), and Qatar's Hamad International Airport (6.44).

The website collated passenger reviews for major international airports from air travel review website Airline Quality,

NAIA is currently undergoing a transformational phase with ongoing rehabilitation efforts following the successful bid by the consortium spearheaded by San Miguel Corp. (SMC).

According to the consortium, its proposal is "designed not only to elevate NAIA to world-class standards but also to ensure that the government benefits from the most advantageous revenue-sharing agreement." It aims to put fairness and long-term sustainability at the top of its priorities as it gains a "favorable outcome" for its shareholders.
