Here's the route for the 2024 MMFF Parade of Stars on Dec. 21
ICYMI, this year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Parade of Stars will take place in the capital city on Dec. 21, Saturday.
In a Facebook post, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the parade will start at 2 p.m. from Kartilya ng Katipunan to Manila Central Post Office.
The parade, which has an expected stretch of 12 kilometers, will feature 10 floats showcasing this year's MMFF entries.
Artists and other personalities in the local entertainment industry will be on the floats to greet throngs of fans.
Some lanes along the parade route will be temporarily closed beginning 12 p.m. A stop-and-go scheme will also be implemented.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternative routes to avoid getting stuck in traffic.

In July, the MMFF announced its first five entries, namely And the Breadwinner Is, Strange Frequencies: Haunted Hospital, Green Bones, Himala, Isang Musikal, and The Kingdom.
The next five entries—My Future You, Uninvited, Espantaho, Topakk, and Hold Me Close—were announced in October.
This year's festival will take place from Dec. 25 to Jan. 7, 2025, with the theme “Sinesigla sa Singkwenta."
The MMFF screened 50 classic Filipino movies in select theaters for P50 from Sept. 25 to Oct. 15.
In celebration of its 50th year, the MMFF previously said it has partnered with iAcademy to create murals of the posters of past MMFF entries along EDSA.
