IN PHOTOS: Festive floats illuminate at the UP Lantern Parade 2023

Every December, the streets of the Philippines are adorned with twinkling lights and festive parols. But in Quezon City, a different kind of magic takes flight, thanks to the University of the Philippines Diliman's Lantern Parade.

Under this year's theme "Panibagong Lakas," the UP Diliman campus on Dec. 20 transformed into a spectacle of light with various floats of different designs as they put into spotlight the different social issues. Students from various colleges showcased their talents and diverse perspectives in addressing societal challenges.
