'Hamilton' announces kickoff event for Pinoy fans

Heads up, Hamilfans! You’re gonna want to be in the room where it happens.  

GMG Productions, the local producer of the highly-anticipated international tour of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton, has announced that it has something special brewing for fans as the Hamilton international tour kicks off on Sept. 20 in Manila.

Theater fans are invited to join their fellow enthusiasts and dress in their finest Hamilton-inspired outfits to spend the afternoon with well-known guests from the world of the smash-hit musical.

There are no details yet as to who these guests are, but in March, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda attended the fan event in Brisbane, Australia.

The event is offering a limited number of slots, and only the first 70 people to sign up will get the chance to be part of the exclusive event.

Entries are limited to one per person and each registration is for a single invite.

To increase the chances of securing a slot, Hamilton International Tour has advised everyone to stay tuned on their Instagram stories as it will be posting the sign-up sheets on Sept. 5, at 10 a.m.   

The Tony Award-winning musical will run from Sept. 17 until Nov. 26 at The Theatre at Solaire in Parañaque City.
