Apollo Quiboloy, founder of Kingdom of Jesus Christ church, is now wanted by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

On its website, the bureau released a wanted” poster that bears Quiboloy’s image and personal information.

According to the FBI, Quiboloy is wanted “for his alleged participation in a labor trafficking scheme that brought church members to the United States, via fraudulently obtained visas, and forced the members to solicit donations for a bogus charity, donations that actually were used to finance church operations and the lavish lifestyles of its leaders.”

It further read, “Members who proved successful at soliciting for the church allegedly were forced to enter into sham marriages or obtain fraudulent student visas to continue soliciting in the United States year-round.”

Quiboloy was charged with sex trafficking of females aged 12 to 25 years old to work as his personal assistants or “pastorals.”

In a 2021 statement, the US Justice Department said the victims prepared Quiboloy’s meals, cleaned his residences, gave him massages and were required to have sex with him in what the pastorals called “night duty.”

Quiboloy was indicted by a federal grand jury in the United States District Court for the Central District for California for “conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and sex trafficking of children, sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, conspiracy, and bulk cash smuggling.”

Also wanted by the FBI are Teresita Dandan and Helen Panilag for allegedly participating in Quiboloy's labor trafficking scheme.

The indictment alleges the sex trafficking scheme ran for at least 16 years to 2018. It also states that victims who complied were rewarded with “good food, luxurious hotel rooms, trips to tourist spots, and yearly cash payments that were based on performance,” paid for with money solicited by church workers in the US.

On Nov. 10, 2021, a federal warrant was issued for Quiboloy’s arrest.

Also wanted by the FBI are two women who allegedly participated in Quiboloy’s labor trafficking scheme—Teresita Dandan and Helen Panilag.

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy prays over Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, who is running for vice president in the 2022 elections, during the kick-off of the Marcos-Duterte national caravan on Feb. 1 in Davao City. With them in photo are senatorial bets, former senator Jinggoy Estrada and former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

The embattled pastor is President Rodrigo Duterte’s “spiritual advisor” and longtime friend. In November 2021, the Malacañang said Duterte will “execute the laws accordingly,” following the issues that hounded Quiboloy.

In his most recent public appearance on Feb. 1, Quiboloy endorsed the Bongbong Marcos-Sara Duterte tandem during the send-off ceremony in Davao City of their national caravan, even predicting a landslide win for both Marcos and Duterte.
