A hotel for all seasons

Experiencing an elegant and eloquent destination is like living a dream—a rare and precious moment when you discover a diamond that somehow outshines all the rest.

After celebrating several milestones, my sisters Michelle Dayrit-Soliven, Yvonne Dayrit-Romualdez, and I decided it was time to go into vacation mode—ready to relax, enjoy one another’s company, and create more unforgettable memories.

Paintings and sculptures fill the halls of Four Seasons Bangkok.

And this particular vacation began with a secret.

Little did our youngest sister Yvonne know that we had a surprise in store for her. We conspired with our van driver to make her believe that we were going to stay at a hotel in the hip Thonglor district near Bangkok.

But when Yvonne discovered what our secret adventure was—that we were, in fact, at the fabulous Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River—she could hardly believe it. She looked as if she had entered some kind of dreamworld. Her look of amusement and surprise was one of the most special moments of our trip.

The gracious regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Bangkok, Khun Lubosh Barta

We were enthralled by the jovial welcome of regional vice president and general manager Khun Lubosh Barta and PR and marketing communications manager Khun Paponpat Sapsuwan. Their demeanor reminded us that true luxury is not just in the beauty around us but also in how special the people make you feel.

Nestled along the scenic Chao Phraya River, this precious gem of a hotel feels like a tranquil haven in the midst of the city. Our premium riverfront suite was a paradise where we felt the pulsating energy of Bangkok against the backdrop of the sunset and full moon.

Water is a recurring theme throughout the property, with endless pools creating that soothing connection to the river. Lush gardens, towering trees, sculptures, and thoughtfully designed spaces in every corner invite you in. One thing we also learned is that space is the new luxury.

Inventive cuisine matched with international flavors takes center stage at Four Seasons Bangkok.

Four Seasons Bangkok has several restaurants that will satisfy even the most discerning palates. One can choose between Chinese, Italian, French brasserie, and other cuisines.

Carpaccio d’Orata at Riva del Fiume Ristorante, an authentic Italian restaurant in Bangkok

We will never forget the sumptuous Italian dinner at Riva del Fiume Ristorante. We started with a refreshing burrata salad, sumptuous risotto with bone marrow and generous shavings of truffle, a special tomato salad prepared tableside, arrabbiata pasta, and more. A decadent array of chocolates was the sweet ending to a delicious beginning.

Water is a recurring theme throughout the property, with spaces designed to blend seamlessly with nature.

After delectable meals like this, it was time to hit the gym, swim in the lap pools, dip in the heated pools, and relax in the steam room. As if that wasn't enough, try their Muay Thai for an exceptional full-body workout.

The hotel is also ideal for exploring Bangkok’s creative neighborhoods. We took a short ride to Asiatique, where we were pleasantly surprised to discover a lively yet uncrowded wonderland of space loaded with a variety of shops where we found lovely bathing suits and pretty hand-sewn denim pieces.

Breathe in and relax in your private suite with views of the Chao Phraya River.

The soothing massage at a simple little spa was also too good to resist. I walked out contentedly, stretching my relaxed body and feeling in complete bliss. However, it was long after the treatment when I realized I was still wearing the spa’s brown slippers! I had completely forgotten that my own shoes were still waiting patiently for me. My sisters could not stop laughing. I tried to act as though the slippers were a deliberate fashion statement, but there was really no way to make brown spa slippers look chic on me. I raced back for my rubber shoes for a happy exchange.

Signature cocktails from BKK Social Club, one of the world’s most acclaimed cocktail destinations

We returned to the Four Seasons Hotel for sunset drinks and snacks. We enjoyed pleasant moments at the award-winning BKK Social Club, where Latin American glamour meets Thai hospitality through handcrafted cocktails, elevated bar bites, and cigars. Worth noting, BKK Social Club was named among the Top 20 on Asia's 50 Best Bars list for 2026.

Impressive art featured inside the Four Seasons Bangkok gallery

There is also an expansive art gallery inside the hotel. It unites various elements, such as sculptures, interior details, gardens, water features, and architecture.

From the hotel, the Chao Phraya looks stunning. Boats move past, and Bangkok feels slow and calm as the day begins. Temple roofs glow when the first rays of sunlight hit. Everything can feel unreal for a moment.

Four Seasons Bangkok offers a luxury riverside hotel experience in Bangkok’s creative district, where city energy blends with the serenity of the Chao Phraya River.

The river has always mattered here. Living near it changes how you see the city. In the early hours, you can sit in quiet spaces near the pools and gardens. It feels like getting two sides of the same day. You get Bangkok’s buzz, but you also get a calm riverside stay.

Four Seasons Bangkok resonates with you. It is the way everything comes together. As I lie in my cozy bed with sweet thoughts in my head, I watch the moon illuminate the Chao Phraya River and realize that some places are not simply visited. They are felt. They are remembered.
