Photos of a baby lying on the floor during Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Paris went viral, angering social media users over the irresponsible parenting.

Several X users had snaps of the incident and in @whatamind13’s post, the first photo showed the baby wearing what appears to be a light-up bracelet. An adult, who’s wearing white shoes and white socks, is standing in front of the baby, with their feet flat on the ground and the baby between their legs.

The second photo showed the baby from a different angle, already wearing earmuffs. The adult from the first photo is already on the baby’s right side. A woman can be seen sitting in front of the baby, while another adult with leopard pants stands on the baby’s left side.

“get ur baby off the floor and GO HOME,” the X user said. In a follow-up tweet, the user took a photo of the crowd.

“Just to paint the full picture this is general admission at the Paris show tonight,” the user said, “and that baby is somewhere [on] the floor AT THIS SHOW! Like WTF they have lost their minds! Terrible parenting.”

The tweet has over 27,000 likes, 1,800 retweets, 265 comments, and 800 bookmarks.

Commenters expressed concern over the baby.

“Please don't bring babies to concerts their ears are very sensible and it could affect their hearing,” one user said.

“This is so irresponsible and dangerous that I don’t even find it in me to make a joke about this,” another user said. “I hope this baby was not harmed during the show and that someone reported the parent(s).”

Others questioned the security for allowing the baby inside the concert venue.

According to the La Défense Arena website,  the venue “doesn’t recommend bringing children under the age of 4, even if accompanied, particularly due to the high volume.” Strollers are also prohibited.

A spokesperson told Page Six that spectators with a young child would’ve been offered an alternative seating arrangement “but refused by ticket holders.”

Swift announced The Eras Tour in November last year, describing it as a journey through the musical eras of her career thus far. The first leg of the tour happened from March 18 to Aug. 5 at stadiums across the United States. It's set to conclude in August 2024.
