On top of showering dad with hugs and thank yous every now and then, it would be nice to make sure that we get to honor him on Father’s Day. One of the ways to do that is to make time for a lovely dinner, where we can reminisce about good memories and just catch up with good food on the side.
As much as we would like to cook, not everyone can whip up a foolproof spread. Thankfully, there are some businesses who have got us covered with offerings that dad will surely love. Here are some of them.
Almost every dad loves wagyu. If yours is one of them, you can’t go wrong with Ginza Gyu, which is offering wagyu striploin in a spacious tray good for 5-6 pax. Priced at P4,900, it features “a fatty cut with great marbling, cooked to medium-rare, and served on top of our special Wagyu Steak Rice.” You may even opt to add a handwritten note card for only P50 to make it a whole lot sweeter.
Jack and Coke BBQ Ribs might be a dream come true for the dad who can’t get enough ribs. This unique offering is available for P899/P1,550/P2,499 at Gloria’s Table, and each order comes with garlic, corn, and carrots on the side. You can choose between mild and hot for the barbecue sauce.
Speaking of ribs, there’s also Chef Roast Food Specialties with the bestselling fall-off-the-bone Hickory-smoked American Pork Ribs that can satisfy up to eight people. Each slab is “smoked for hours and coated with seasoned barbecue sauce, served with buttered corn and carrots on the side.”
Arcy’s Kitchen is known for its OG Truffle Cream Pasta with Shitake Mushroom. If you think this is something dad would love, you’d be happy to know that the restaurant is still accepting orders for the crowd favorite pasta dish. It’s available in three sizes: P700 good for 3-4 pax, P1,200 good for 8-10 pax, and P2,800 good for 25 pax.
