Sarah Wurtzbach shares she is a gang assault and grooming survivor

In her efforts to amplify the conversation on mental health, Sarah Wurtzbach opened up about her past struggles in time for World Mental Health Day on Oct. 10.

In a TikTok video posted via Instagram, the younger sister of 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach shared that she is a survivor of gang assault and grooming.

In the "before" portion; video, she also revealed that she struggled with depression for over 10 years, had “anxiety 24/7," had post-traumatic stress disorder, and commitment issues. Now, she has a full-time work from home job, is a better mom and partner, and "has a happier outlook on life," among others.

"All I want to do is spread good, raise awareness and be my authentic self," Sarah's caption reads.
