Tagaytay road trip it is! CALAX Interchange to open on Nov. 8
Expect to get more last-minute invites to Tagaytay because there's now a faster route to the City for All Occasions!
Just in time for the holidays, the new Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Silang-Aguinaldo Interchange will be opening this Nov. 8, making trips to Tagaytay and nearby towns about 30 minutes faster.
According to MPCALA Holdings Inc. (MHI), the 3.9-kilometer exit "will play a significant role in decongesting the busiest highway in Cavite."
CALAX will soon expand by 45 kilometers by 2024 and will feature eight interchanges: Technopark, Laguna Boulevard, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, Silang East, Silang (Aguinaldo), Governor's Drive, Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange. CALAX will also eventually connect to the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) in Kawit.
What's more, the toll fee to this interchange is free of charge until further notice. Motorists will only be charged up to the Silang East Interchange toll fee.
Whether you're visiting Tagaytay to enjoy the view over coffee, celebrate a milestone with a family over a meal, or set to discover its hidden gems, you're sure to find a place to satisfy your tastebuds.
