Visit these quaint cafes in Tagaytay on your next barkada getaway

By Melanie Uson Published Jul 11, 2023 8:31 pm

We're in over half of the year already, and this might be the best time to have that quick getaway and (finally) hang out with your friends.

Aside from getting rest, one of the best ways to take a breather is simply by catching up with your friends. If you’re up for a chill and intimate bond, one way to do it is to do a road trip and sing your hearts out—carpool karaoke-style—en route to Tagaytay where views and food always serve.

Recently, our team headed to Tagaytay for a quick getaway. Our travel was made smooth with Ford’s Next-Gen Territory and Everest. With the help of its modern technology and intelligent safety system that were not intimidating to use, we were able to navigate around the city easily despite its steep roads.

Both cars also have a 360-degree camera that assisted us, especially in tight spaces. Its spacious yet stylish seats also helped us get that comfort despite the long drive going to and exploring the city, saving us the needed energy for Instagram poses and more chika.

So, allow us to share our latest discoveries and cafe recommendations in Tagaytay.

When you visit, try their savory Gyudon and partner it with your favorite espresso. If you opt for a quick snack, try their Katsu Sando, a simple yet filling katsu sandwich to accompany you and your friends during long drives. For those with a sweet tooth, you must not miss the wonders of its Takao Toast—toasted pandesal with brûléed bananas you can dip either in espresso or classic maple syrup.
