The most sacred week of the year has come again, and many people are grabbing this chance to do some life reflection and sightseeing around the world.
Local celebrities are taking the time to recharge their mind and body, strengthen ties with their loved ones, as well as reflect on the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Here's a look at where some stars are spending Holy Week this year.
Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis is on a vacation in Taipei together with her husband Erwan Heussaff and their daughter Dahlia Amélie.
In some photos posted on her Instagram account, Anne and her family can be seen exploring local markets and having a food trip in the country.
Kylie Verzosa
Kylie Verzosa also went out of the country for Holy Week. Her destination: the Land of the Rising Sun.
As seen in her Instagram posts, Kylie is spending her much-needed break visiting Japan's famous shrines, shopping, immersing herself in the busy streets of Shinjuki in Tokyo, and enjoying some Japanese food.
Claudine Barretto
Like Kylie, Claudine Barretto also decided to fly to Japan with her family. They had a blast in the snow and visited Mt. Fuji, the tallest mountain in the country.
In some videos she shared on Instagram, Claudine's children Keah and Noah can be seen having a snowball fight, making a snowman, and sleighing in the snow.
Vhong Navarro
With its modern structures as well as a rich culture, it's no wonder that Vhong Navarro chose South Korea as his vacation spot for this year's Holy Week.
The local comedian has been filling his Instagram account with pictures of him and his family making wonderful memories in the country's Nami Island. Another post shows them in their stylish outfits in Seoul's Gangnam district, which is home to gleaming skyscrapers, designer brands, and stylish nightclubs.
Kim Atienza
For Holy Week, Kim Atienza is on a romantic trip with his wife Felicia in Pamalican Island, which is blissfully nestled in the Cuyo Archipelago of northern Palawan.
In Felicia's Instagram stories, the pair can be seen enjoying the summer heat by the pool. "Unwinding," she wrote in the caption.
