IN PHOTOS: Cherry blossoms in Japan and elsewhere

The pink flowers, which are in full bloom from mid-March to late April and even early May, are a sight for sore eyes that will definitely leave the beholder tickled pink.
Usually thriving in colder climates, cherry blossoms symbolize renewal and optimism as they mark the end of winter.
They, however, also symbolize transience, as the flowers only last for days.
Heres a look of cherry blossoms around the world.
