By John Patrick Magno Ranara Published Sep 06, 2024 5:37 pm

When looking for a bonding activity with your friends and family or just finding a way to get rid of boredom and stress, shopping is always a go-to pursuit for an enjoyable time.

If you’ve on the prowl for a fresh, new place to satisfy your shopaholic thirst, you’re in luck as Robinsons Retail has now opened the doors to its latest concept store, SPATIO, at Opus Mall in Bridgetowne, Quezon City.

PhilSTAR L!fe had a chance to explore the three-floor establishment and find out what it has to offer to customers. Right off the bat, SPATIO distinguishes itself from typical department stores in the Philippines thanks to not one, but five services you can check out to pamper yourself and elevate your shopping experience.

During your excursion, you can get a haircut at Bruno's Barbers, which offers services ranging from P400 to P3,000.

SPATIO has Lay Bare Plus where you can get your nails polished and painted for P250 to P1,300. Their nail art services meanwhile cost P900 to P2,200. This salon also offers waxing, skin lightening, and eyelash care.

At the concept store, you can get your shoes cleaned at Sole Care powered by kutsu. Basic sneaker cleaning is priced at P800 and lasts for one to two hours, while Sneaker deep cleaning costs P1,000 and may last for four to seven days. They also have regluing and repainting services.

As shopping may put a toll on you, you can have a well-deserved break through wines and cocktails from Bar Shü, and coffee drinks from We The People Coffee & Tea Co.

But these personal care services aren't the only features that make SPATIO a standout among retail stores as it also holds a variety of classy brands that are a bit hard to find in other shopping places.

Here are some of the unique brands you can find at this new store:

Kathryn Fanlo

At Kathryn Fanlon, you can get your hands on some unique wearable art pieces.

The brand's products take inspiration from the rich culture and wonders of Mindanao, which comprises various ethnic and collective groups of indigenous tribes.

For each tribal group, Kathryn Fanlon incorporates their distinct elements and materials in their earrings, necklaces, scarves, brooches, and other accessories, making them both fashionable and versatile in nature.

Zarah Juan

Elevate your luxury bags with Zarah Juan's eye-catching take on their designs. The brand instantly caught our attention because of the quirky aesthetic of their arm candies, which take the shape of a jeepney, an ice cream cart, a camera, a boombox, and even a telephone.

Zarah Juan is known for shining the spotlight on unique Philippine designs in its bags, shoes, and accessories through partnering with Filipino artisans, weavers, and suppliers.

Pinas Sadya

Pinas Sadya is another fashion line that highlights the extraordinary culture of the Philippines.

At SPATIO, you can find a wide selection of Kimono Ponchos that are all lovingly handmade by the weaving communities in the country, designed to get compliments and start conversations about Philippine heritage.

Viajecito

You can never go wrong with adding a touch of pastel or muted colors to your look, and if you're looking for the perfect apparel to achieve this, Viajecito's charming silicone bags called "Splashkits" are made just for you!

Viajecito came out with the first Splashkit in June 2018. The bags embody elevated yet approachable fashion through their geometric silicone body, engraved side buttons, refined tarnish-proof hardware, and eye-catching colors.

As the brand produces colors and collections in limited quantities, you may not see them again for some time, so be sure to grab the body color you like while you still have the chance.

Saucony

Saucony has established itself as a footwear brand that has been setting the pace in running and lifestyle footwear for over a century. Whether you're aiming for a personal record or just want to step out in style, this brand has got you covered.

To mark their newest store at Opus Mall, Saucony is exclusively selling their white ProGrid Omni 9 shoes at SPATIO. The shoes add breathable mesh and synthetic details to make them functional and utilitarian for any outdoor excursion. Its recycled linin and footbed also add a touch of sustainability.
