If you've been looking for an excuse to belt out How Far I'll Go at the top of your lungs, this might be it.

Disney fans are in for a wave of nostalgia as the music of Moana sails into Manila this October through a special concert event celebrating the hit animated film and its unforgettable soundtrack.

Disney’s Moana Live-to-Film Concert is set to spotlight the film's acclaimed score and soundtrack performed live by the 78-member Filharmonika Orchestra conducted by Gerard Salonga at The Theatre at Solaire from Oct. 3 to 4

Moana's original score was composed by Mark Mancina, who is known for working on other Disney films such as Tarzan and Brother Bear. The songs were meanwhile made by the collaborative work of Mancina, Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Opetaia Foa‘i, who is the composer and founder of Polynesian band Te Vaka.

Audiences can expect to hear fan-favorite songs including You’re Welcome, We Know the Way, and, of course, How Far I’ll Go.

The ticket pre-sale for members of the Film Concerts PH community is scheduled for June 19 at 10:00 a.m., while the general sale will start on June 30 at 12:00 p.m. via Ticketworld.

Moana premiered in 2016 and centers on the titular daughter of a Polynesian chief who sets sail across the ocean to save her people and discover her true destiny. Along the way, she teams up with the demigod Maui and embarks on a journey filled with mythical creatures, ancient legends, and self-discovery.

It later spawned a sequel, Moana 2 in 2024, and a live-action adaptation is also in development.
