Speculations are rife that popular Broadway musical Hamilton is coming to Manila after its star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda showed off his Tagalog speaking skills in a video.

"Kumusta, Philippines? What's up, dude, pare?" Miranda said in a March 27 clip uploaded by GMG Productions.

Many fans went gaga over the comments section, writing comments in all caps and putting lots of exclamation points as they speculated about an upcoming Manila show.

"Hamilton pleaseee!!! Naka reserve na atay ko para mapanuod to ng live!!!" one user said.

"Is it Hamilton, West Side Story or In the Heights," another user said.

Another user jokingly told the actor, "Hoy, Lin-Manuel! Umayos ka!"
