Elon Musk's estranged daughter debunks anti-trans claims about her, recalls getting berated by him for being queer
The estranged transgender daughter of Elon Musk shut down his anti-trans claims against her and recalled getting berated by him during her childhood years for being part of the LGBTQ+ community.
In a Threads entry on July 25, Vivian Jenna Wilson, 20, shared a screenshot of Musk's tweet, where the latter said Wilson was "born gay and slightly autistic, two attributes that contribute to gender dysphoria."
Referring to Wilson as "he," the Tesla and X CEO noted that Wilson, as a four-year-old, "would pick out clothes for me to wear like a jacket and tell me it was 'fabulous.'"
Wilson also has a "love of musicals and theater," according to Musk.
"But he was not a girl," the business tycoon said of his daughter.
Wilson called Musk's claims "entirely fake," saying "literally none of this ever happened."
"I don’t even know where he got this from," she said. "My best guess is that he went to the Milo Yiannopoulis school of gay stereotypes, just picked some at random and said 'eh- good enough' in a last-ditch attempt to garner sympathy points when he is so obviously in the wrong even in his own f**king story."
Wilson noted she didn't have a love of musicals and theater as she was "f**king four," and "did not know what these things were" until her twin brother had a Hamilton phase in 8th or 9th grade.
She said she "never picked out jackets for him to wear" and "most certainly not calling them 'fabulous,'" noting she didn't use the word as a four-year-old.
"Like this is so obvious I don’t even think it warrants explanation," Wilson said, "but apparently people believe this nonsense so here I am."
She said the "entire thing is completely made up," as Musk "doesn't know what I was like as a child because he quite simply wasn’t there."
"[A]nd in the little time that he was I was relentlessly harassed for my femininity and queerness," she said. "Obviously he can’t say that, so I’ve been reduced to a happy little stereotype f*g-ing along to use at his discretion."
"I think that says alot about how he views queer people and children in general," she added.
Ultimately, Wilson pointed out that she's a woman and is legally recognized in the state of California
"I don’t concern myself with the opinions of those who are below me," she said. "Obviously Elon can’t say the same because in a ketamine-fueled haze, he’s desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him."
"Go touch some f**king grass," she added.
Wilson's Threads entry came after Musk claimed in an interview that he had been “tricked” into signing documents for Wilson's transition when she was 16.
Musk also said he "lost my son, essentially," and that Wilson was “dead, killed by the woke mind virus.” He also deadnamed Wilson.
'Crossed a line,' 'not a supportive father'
In an interview with NBC News, Wilson said Musk "crossed a line."
"I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,” Wilson said. “Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”
According to her, Musk was "not a supportive father" and was "rarely present" in her life, left to be taken care of by her mother—Musk's first wife, author Justine Musk—or nannies despite him having joint custody. (Wilson's parents divorced in 2008 and shared custody between their homes in Los Angeles.)
Musk also berated her whenever he was present, Wilson claimed.
“He was cold,” she said. “He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic.”
Wilson recalled getting harassed by Musk when she was a child for "exhibiting feminine traits," pressuring her to appear more masculine like deepening her voice in elementary.
During a road trip that was an advertisement for one of Musk's cars, Wilson said her father "was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high."
Musk has expressed anti-trans views several times in public and repeatedly mocked gender pronouns. CNN International captured his now-deleted tweet from December 2020 that read, “when you put he/him in your bio,” alongside a drawing of an 18th century soldier rubbing blood on his face in front of a pile of dead bodies and wearing a cap that read, “I love to oppress.”
Amid criticisms, Musk on X responded with, “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic (sic) nightmare.”
