A Filipino-American magician emerged as the second placer in the 18th season of America's Got Talent.

Anna De Guzman captivated the AGT judges with her impressive magic tricks throughout her stint. At the show's recently concluded finals, she had the same Queen of Hearts card from host Terry Crews appear not just in the envelopes of the panel members—Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel—but also of the viewers.

She earned a runner-up position with her talent, next to Adrian Stoica and his dog Hurricane.

The 25-year-old celebrated her recent feat in an Instagram post. "We did it! Season 18 runner-up," she wrote. "This is just the beginning. Can't wait to show you what's next."

De Guzman has been doing cardistry, which she described as the "manipulation of playing cards," for five to six years now. In her previous interview on the reality show, she said she sees "magical things happen all the time."

“Growing up as an only child with a single mother, I spent a lot of time learning how to entertain myself,” she shared. “When I found my first deck of cards, I was instantly captivated by the magic they seem to possess.”

Before AGT, Anna showcased her talent in various shows like MTV’s Amazingness, The Steve Harvey Show, and CW’s Penn & Teller: Fool Us. She also took part in Australia’s Got Talent in 2022.
