You can sign up for free Japanese language lessons at the QC Public Library

The Quezon City Public Library announced on Facebook that it is once again offering free online basic Japanese language classes from February 19 to December 9.

The classes will be online via Zoom and it's on a first-come, first-served basis for 500 registrants. It will also happen once a month for two hours from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

Dates for the monthly course are Feb. 19, March 18, April 22, May 20, June 17, July 22, Aug. 19, Sept. 16, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, and Dec. 9.

To join the classes, interested individuals must sign up through the registration link, which is open until Feb. 10. Once you've registered, you'll receive a confirmation via email. According to the QC Public Library's Facebook post, registrants have 24 hours to confirm their attendance or they'll be automatically removed from the official list of attendees.

Those who want to take the class must be 18 years old and above, have a laptop, desktop, or smartphone, have a stable internet connection, and have the Zoom app on their device.

At the end of the course, a digital certificate of participation will be given to attendees when they finish the evaluation form at the end of the class.

The Japanese language lessons were launched in 2019 by the QC Public Library with Jellyfish Education Philippines.
