Here's what to expect at Art Fair Philippines 2025 as it moves to Ayala Triangle Gardens
Excited to see all the creative wonders at this year’s Art Fair Philippines?
The country's premier venue for exhibiting Filipino modern and contemporary art is set to return for its 12th edition this February with plenty of new visual delights that showcase the brilliance of both local and international artists in their respective mediums.
This year, the fair embarks on an exciting new chapter by moving to Ayala Triangle Gardens. Co-founder Lisa Periquet is thrilled by this change, envisioning a more immersive experience for visitors as they "navigate a new space."
Without further ado, here are some of the things to get pumped up about for Art Fair Philippines' 2025 edition.
New venue
Since its establishment in 2013, Art Fair Philippines has always displayed the fascinating artworks of its exhibitors at The Link car park.
According to co-founder Trickie Lopa, the venue change was due to a desire to "embrace something new."
"We always try to conceptualize something new [at] each art fair, so why not go bigger this year and just change the entire venue?" Lopa said during a media launch attended by PhilSTAR L!fe.
Her co-founder, Dindin Araneta, meanwhile highlighted how she liked the idea of "moving to the center of the community," and a lot of that is within the triangle area.
"We also wanted to find a venue that can also transform the experience of being an art fair," she explained. "I was here one Sunday at the park. It was so nice, it felt so good to be around all of those trees in the garden. So I think that's what I'm looking forward to, being around so much nature and around families and different types of people just enjoying the park."
With the bigger location, this year's show will have two entrances: one located along Ayala Avenue and another along Makati Avenue. If one reception area is getting a little too crowded, you can always head to the other one to save some time waiting in line.
