Panic! at the Disco, the iconic American pop rock band that eventually became a solo project, will be "no more" after nearly 20 years.

Frontman Brendon Urie said he will be putting his focus and energy on his family. He and his wife Sarah, who he married in 2013, are expecting their first child.

"[S]ometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin," Urie said.

"The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting," he added. "I look forward to this next adventure."

Panic! at the Disco will just complete its final tour, starting in Vienna in Austria on Feb. 20 and ending in Manchester in England on March 10.

The 35-year-old musician thanked legions of fans for the "immense support over the years."

"Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us, it has been a pleasure to not only share the stage with so many talented people but also share our time with you," Urie said.

"I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you for existing."

Urie formed Panic! at the Disco in his hometown Las Vegas in Nevada with his childhood friends Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson in 2004, when they were still in high school.

Their debut studio album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out came out in 2005, and was certified triple platinum. Its single I Write Sins Not Tragedies catapulted them to fame.

In 2009, their hit New Perspective became the face of the horror comedy Jennifer's Body starring Megan Fox.

Panic! at the Disco's musical direction—and members—changed over the years and seven studio albums.

It has since become Urie's solo project, touring with different performers and collaborating with several artists, from Fall Out Boy to Taylor Swift.

Its last studio album Viva Las Vegas came out in 2022.
