It's finally happening!

Hit Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters is joining forces with popular online video game Fortnite.

On Sept. 29, Rei Ami, who voices Zoey on KPop, took to Instagram to give a sneak peek of her character’s Fortnite skin. She also shared a screencap of a message from Fortnite’s official Instagram page, telling her, “It’s done, done, done,” which referenced one of the Huntrix’s songs, How It’s Done.

Fans have yet to see the skins of Zoey’s bandmates Mira (voiced by Audrey Nuna) and Rumi (voiced by Ejae).

According to leaks, the Fortnite skins of the demon hunting KPop trio Huntr/x will be released as early as Oct. 2 or 3.

In video game lingo, a “skin” is akin to the visual appearance of a player’s character. Players either buy or earn skins to customize their character’s aesthetics.

Per reports by Forbes, this is just the start of a large-scale collaboration, which is anticipated to create skins not just for the singing, demon-hunting trio.

Released just on June 20 in Netflix, KPop Demon Hunters tells the story of Zoey, Rumi, and Mira, who are K-pop superstars by day and secret demon hunters whenever the world needs supernatural protection.

Its popularity took many by surprise, becoming the most-watched original title in Netflix history. Within three months of its release, the animated film produced by Netflix with Sony Pictures Animation achieved over 330 million cumulative views.

As for its soundtrack, KPop Demon Hunters just hit No. 1 in the Billboard 200 albums chart earlier this month. The last time an animated film’s soundtrack hit the top spot on Billboard 200 was in 2022, when the animated film Encanto’s companion album topped the Billboard 200 albums chart for nine consecutive weeks.
