LIST: New Year countdown parties in Manila to welcome 2025
It's always an exciting moment to count down the seconds until the new year rolls by. While most of us would usually ring in the new year in our homes, others prefer to celebrate the occassion with a crowd through fun-filled parties.
Want to welcome 2025 with a bang? If you're looking for gatherings like these, here are some establishments and local governments around the metro that are preparing New Year countdowns for you to participate in.
Solaire Resort
The brightest stars will collide at Solaire Resort's New Year's Eve party as it features performances from legendary music icons such as Bituin Escalante, Martin Nievera, and Lea Salonga, all under the baton of Maestro Gerard Salonga.
Apart from being serenaded by these stunning singers, you can also satisfy your taste buds with an opulent buffet dinner and free-flowing beverages.
Cocktails will be handed out 30 minutes before dinner, which starts at 8 p.m. The main event will take place at 10 p.m.
Ticket prices range from P24,888 to P16,888.
Solaire Resort North
Those near Quezon City can also enjoy a celebration of their own through Solaire Resort North New Year’s Eve party that will be headlined by none other than renowned rapper Ne-Yo.
Attendees can also catch performances from Japanese dance team Avantgardey, hip-hop dance crew Jabbawockeez, BGYO, DJ Soda, and Beast House PH. The event will be hosted by Billy Crawford.
The show will start at 9:30 p.m. onwards, with tickets ranging from P5,500 to P8,500.
Bonifacio Global City
Bonifacio Global City's annual "NYE at the 5th" New Year countdown once again returns with a powerful lineup. K-pop fans especially wouldn't want to miss the event as girl group powerhouse ITZY will light up the stage with their energetic acts, as with electronic duo Honne.
Joining them are OPM singers Sarah Geronimo, Juan Karlos, Rico Blanco, and British electronic music duo Honne.
The party will take place at 5th Avenue, Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City starting 7 p.m. onwards. General admission will be free on a first come, first serve basis, so you only have to bring your lightsticks and hand banners.
Century Park Hotel Manila
You can have a "big, bold, and beautiful" 2025 countdown through Century Park Hotel's New Year's Eve Party, where you can enjoy live band performances, a cocktail buffet with free-flowing cocktails for adults and non-alcoholic drinks for kids, a grand fireworks display, and exciting raffle prizes.
You can reserve your seats at P1,799 for adults and P799 for kids. Those aged five years old and below are free of charge.
You can also avail of their New Year Room Package which starts at P8,500. This includes an overnight stay for two adults and two kids, a buffet breakfast at Café in the Park, and tickets for two to the Countdown Party.
Makati City
Makati City will also usher in 2025 with a bang through its celebration at Ayala Avenue.
While the city has yet to give details on what acts will perform, Makati teased that it will have an "even grander celebration at the Ayala Avenue" with the "top Filipino artists of 2024, incredible performances, and the best vibes."
