Lisa Frankenstein will serve as Liza's first Hollywood film. Before this, she had long expressed her desire to pursue an acting career in America because she wanted to inspire a younger generation of actors who also wanted to make a career in Hollywood.
In detailing how she got the role in Lisa Frankenstein, Liza said in an interview that she had met the film's director during her trips in various entertainment spots and she was encouraged to audition for a role. Her agent told her that her audition was successful and since then, Liza has been busy shooting her scenes in New Orleans.
"I’m really happy that a lot of people know that I’m working on a project now. My fans have been waiting for the longest time since 2020 for me to go back into acting. I’m happy that finally they have something to look forward to," Liza said.
Lisa Frankenstein will be the feature directorial debut of late comedian Robin Williams' daughter Zelda. Joining Liza in the cast are Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
