BTS’s ‘Break the Silence’ film snags ‘Best Music Documentary’ win at 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards
From life-changing music to countless endorsement deals, there’s no stopping BTS from making history.
BTS’s Break the Silence: The Movie documentary film emerged as the “Best Music Documentary” winner at the annual MTV Movie & TV Awards. It beat other nominees in the category: Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You; Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell; Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry; Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil; Shawn Mendes: In Wonder; Taylor Swift: Miss Americana; The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart; The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears; and Tina.
The documentary film goes behind the scenes of BTS’s “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” stadium tour. It is promoted as a sequel to the boy group’s Bring the Soul: The Movie film that was released in 2019.
In an acceptance video, leader RM said the “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour was an “unforgettable experience” for the group and ARMYs.
