Alternative rock band Sleep Alley's vocalist Aly passes away

Aly Pagaduan of the alternative rock band Sleep Alley has passed away.

The band announced her passing in a statement posted on Facebook.

"Aly was more than a member of Sleep Alley, she was a part of the heart and soul of this band. Through her music, passion, creativity, and friendship, she touched not only our lives but also the lives of everyone who listened to our songs and supported our journey," Sleep Alley wrote.

"We will forever cherish the music she shared with us, the memories we created together, and the moments that shaped Sleep Alley into what it became. Her voice, spirit, and artistry will continue to live on through the songs we made and the people she inspired along the way," they added.

The band also announced that they will "close this chapter of the band" in honor of Aly.

"We leave this as part of her legacy. A reflection of the music, memories, and journey we shared together," they said.

The band then thanked everyone who supported them throughout the years: "Your support meant the world to us, and we are deeply grateful that you were part of this journey with Aly."

"As we say goodbye, we ask that you keep Aly and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. We hope that whenever our music is played, her memory continues to live on," the statement concluded.

Aly, whose real name is Alyssa Pagaduan, played guitar and sang vocals for Sleep Alley.

The band also consists of members Jude Daluz, Kyle Tesalona, and Michael Abogado.

According to Sleep Alley's earlier post, the band was also named after her. 

Sleep Alley is known for their songs Balik-Balikan, Pag-uwi, and Di Naging (Tayo).
