BTS’ fifth studio album Be is currently the most popular album in the United States, as they reach Billboard 200’s No. 1 spot.

On November 29, Billboard announced that Korean pop superstars Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook’s newest album Be has reached the top spot in over a week since its launch last November 20. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, Be earned an equivalent of 242,000 album units in the U.S. in the week ending November 26, or just six days from its release.

Of Be’s 242,000 units earned in the tracking week ending Nov. 26, album sales comprise 177,000, TEA units comprise 35,000 and SEA units comprise 30,000 (equating to 48.56 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs),” Billboard reported.

This is also BTS’ fifth No. 1 album in the Billboards. Their chart-topping albums include Love Yourself: Tear, Love Yourself: Answer, Map of the Soul: Persona, and Map of the Soul: 7.

To date, they are also the first and only Korean artist to top the Billboard 200 with five albums.

The last group to hit the same phenomenon as BTS was The Beatles. The Beatles earned "five No. 1s in just under two years and five months from Yesterday and Today (July 30, 1966) to its self-titled album (often referred to as the White Album, Dec. 28, 1968)" and was also the fastest group to achieve its first five No. 1s in just under one year and five months, a feat BTS did in over two years and six months.
