WATCH: Alicia Keys teases fans with a soulful cover of BTS’ ‘Life Goes On’
Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys shared a clip on her social media accounts where she covered the K-pop superstars BTS’ latest hit Life Goes On from the group’s newest album “BE.”
Keys started the clip saying, “I bet y’all didn’t think I would play this one. Tell me if you know it.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer then began a gorgeous, soulful rendition of the chorus of the song and used the English translations of the lyrics that are in Korean.
This is not the first time Alicia Keys showed love to BTS. She recently sent a loving shoutout to the group by responding to group member V’s tweet, expressing her excitement for BTS’ then upcoming album “BE.”
BTS, who recently made history as the first K-pop group to be nominated in the Grammy’s, said that their new album will “deliver a message of healing to the world by declaring, ‘Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on'.”
