Loved Sex and the City? You might watch more of it soon but in a reality dating show treatment.

According to a Variety report on Thursday, Nov. 30, a reality dating show based on the famous romantic-comedy series is currently in the works under Bunim/Murray Productions in collaboration with Candace Bushnell—the author who wrote the best-selling anthology before its TV adaptation.

Dubbed Is There Still Sex in the City, the unscripted dating show will feature four women in their fifties to swap their city lives for a “dating utopia” as they look for their “love do-overs.”

According to its logline, the participants will live together in a “cozy country chateau” and get to pick a different group of men in each episode—from boy toys, seniors, rich guys, to their fantasy man.

“But in the end, who will really steal their hearts, and will our ladies be able to bring the sex back to the city?” it added.

Known as the “real-life Carrie Bradshaw,” Bushnell said that women in their 50s are the “hottest new dating demographic” taking from her own experiences.

“Over the decades, I’ve dated men of all ages and I’m so excited to be working on a show that combines my passion for relationships with the chance to help women, like me, navigate a love do-over,” she said in the statement.

Further details including its production date, cast, and release are yet to be revealed, but Bunim/Murray shared that they are looking for the series’ potential buyers next month.

The classic American romantic-comedy series follows the story of four inseparable women who take their own journey in the dating scene. It premiered in 1998 and spawned five other seasons until 2003. It starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis.
