Aside from Rihanna's first live performance in seven years, another topic of interest revolves around Super Bowl LVII. We're not just talking about the championship faceoff between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, but also the commercials that aired in between their match.

That's right, for those averse to athletics, the next big thing to talk about is the televised advertisements that feature comedy and celebrities.

PhilSTAR L!fe collated this year's most unique Super Bowl ads, which easily grabbed our attention through sheer spectacle. Whether sad or scary, these commercials made good use of their marketing budgets as seen in the final product.

Amazon — Saving Sawyer starring Sawyer The Dog

This ad features a touching story of how Amazon helped a family's beloved dog triumph over loneliness.

Dunkin' — Drive-Thru starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez

Affleck takes on his most challenging role yet: a drive-thru operator at a Dunkin' branch. After donut-hungry customers get their fix, care of the Batman actor, J.Lo catches her husband in the act.

M&M — Back Together Again starring M&M's characters

This "press conference-styled" promo features the so-called "spokescandies" as they returned to bring the brand's humor and happiness to viewers.

Pepsi — Real or Acting starring Steve Martin

This comic (or serious) Pepsi ad features Martin acting (or not). Either way, he invites you to try Pepsi Zero Sugar to know truly for certain.

PopCorners — Breaking Good starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul

Cranston and Paul reprise their Emmy-winning roles as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman from the TV series Breaking Bad. This time, they're cooking something too good to be legal.

Tubi — Tubbi Rabbit Hole starring giant, scary rabbits

Because a horror-themed advertisement can actually frighten you into subscribing to a streaming app.

The 57th Super Bowl was held on Monday, Feb. 13 (Philippine time) at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
