Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck tie the knot once more in lavish second wedding
Wedding bells have sounded off for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, as they tied the knot once again.
A month after officially becoming husband and wife, Ben and Jennifer held their second wedding at Ben's gorgeous mansion in Georgia on Aug. 20, US Time, according to a report by People.
They had their first spontaneous wedding in Las Vegas on July 16 after rekindling their failed romance in April last year. Without further ado, here are some of the details of "Bennifer's" lavish second wedding:
Venue
Dressed in stunning white ensembles, the couple exchanged their vows at Ben's 87-acre Georgia property that he first bought for $7.1 million in 2003.
He initially put it up for sale for $8.9 million, but he eventually decided that it was the perfect place to hold their wedding ceremony and pulled it out of the market.
The mansion is certainly a romantic and scenic spot to celebrate their intimate wedding as it overlooks the the 26-mile-long North Newport River on the private Hampton Island. It is also surrounded by breathtaking nature that is home to hundreds of specied of wildlife.
Reports show that a lot of preparation was done in order to give the celebrity soulmates the gorgeous wedding of their dreams. Aside from an elegantly-designed marquee adorned with flowering trees, there was also a waterside gazebo constructed on the riverfront dock and a fireworks display was also prepared.
Wedding dress
Jennifer has donned a lot of stunning gowns and dresses over the years that have established her as a fashion icon, so naturally, she also went all out for her own wedding day.
Reportedly designed by elite fashion designer Ralph Lauren, Jennifer's extravagant dress features short sleeves, a cut-out back, and an eye-catching 20-foot veil.
Ben was also dashingly handsome as he sported a white tuxedo jacket and black pants.
Guests
A celebrity couple's luxurious wedding isn't complete without a star-studded guest list.
Ben and Jennifer's wedding was officiated by celebrity life coach Jay Shetty and was attended by Ben's longtime friend Matt Damon, who he has always been close with ever since they were kids.
Veteran actor George Clooney and television host Jimmy Kimmel were also reported to attend the couple's special moment, along with Leah Remini, Jennifer's best friend, and her former co-star, Drea de Matteo.
Ben's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is said to be unable to attend due to prior filming commitments. However, all of their five children from their previous marriages were present— Jennifer's 14-year-old twins Max and Emme and Ben's three children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
The guests will have their fill of delicious food, with the menu consisting of fried pork chops, rice and vegetables, oven-roasted chicken, and mac and cheese. Ben and Jennifer's wedding will conclude with a barbecue and picnic on Sunday.
The couple first met on the set of the 2003 romantic comedy crime film Gigli. Collectively known as "Bennifer", the two got engaged in 2002, but broke up afterward.
Almost two decades later and several relationships with other celebrities, the two decided to rekindle their love for each other, with Ben proposing to Jennifer in April last year with a gorgeous green diamond ring.
