Apart from the film, plans to bring the original PH version of the 90 episodes to Japan are also underway.

Voltes V: Legacy follows the story of young heroes who join forces to fight Boazanians, humanoid aliens who aim to invade the Earth.

It premiered on April 18 last year through a 107-minute theatrical version that covers content from the first 15 episodes of the television series. The show officially began airing in May before it finished its run in September with a total of 90 episodes.

It starred Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Matt Lozano, Radson Flores, and Raphael Landicho. Also joining the cast were Albert Martines, Carla Abellana, Martin del Rosario, and Dennis Trillo.

The live-action series was directed by Mark Reyes and was produced by GMA Network in partnership with Japanese entertainment company Toei Company.
