Excited for the release of Aloy's next adventure?

LEGO is adding to the hype for the sequel of the hit video game Horizon Zero Dawn with a cool new LEGO set featuring one of the most iconic machines from the game series.

The brick maker announced Tuesday (Feb. 16) that it partnered with Sony PlayStation and Guerrilla Games to produce a premium-quality LEGO building kit designed for adults based on their latest game, Horizon Forbidden West.

The 1,222-piece LEGO set is focused on the Tallneck - the gentle, giraffe-like mechanical creature with a broad disc-shaped head and slim legs, from the game. The buildable model features authentic details replicated in LEGO style, including the antennae protruding from the neck, tail-like structures and long legs.

The non-hostile creature is a Communications Class machine in the video game, which Aloy climbs to overrride its disc in order to get a map of the surrounding area.

The complex Tallneck model measures 13.5 inches high when fully built in brick form, so make sure you have enough shelf space to display this at home or in your gaming room.

The Tallneck brick set comes with a minifigure of the game’s hero Aloy complete with tiny bow and spear, a Watcher machine (with either blue, yellow, or red eyes), and a display stand featuring some details from the Horizon landscape, including vegetation and a rusting traffic light.

“I fell in love with Horizon Zero Dawn the first time I played it. It’s a futuristic world full of gorgeous scenery, strong characters, threatening machines, and a rich story. The Guerrilla designers were a huge inspiration and help in capturing the spirit of this universe in LEGO form,” said LEGO Model Designer Isaac Snyder on the PlayStation blog.

“The Horizon fan community is so creative, and this model is dedicated to their passion and imagination,” Snyder added.

The Horizon Forbidden West LEGO set will cost $79.99 (approx. P4,101), and is expected to go on sale in May at the LEGO website and other major retailers.

The set is the latest in an increasing number of video game-inspired sets from the brick maker, including Super Mario, Minecraft, Overwatch, and recent Sonic the Hedgehog sets.

The Tallneck LEGO set will be available from May 2022. Horizon Forbidden West is scheduled for release on Feb. 18 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
